I will be moving from Utah to the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area in the middle of August, and will be starting to offer piano lessons. I charge 20 dollars for an half hour lesson (once a week, or more if desired) or 35 dollars for an hour long lesson. I am a male, age 23, I have played piano now for 20+ years and have also worked as both a dance instructor and a tumbling coach, so I know how to motivate all ages and get them excited about performing and playing. As I took lessons growing up I also battled the "I don't really want to play this instrument" syndrome :) but now I love playing, and I am adept at helping students overcome their reluctance. I also have a lot of experience playing for congregational/church meetings, so if desired, I can teach hymns and other religious accompaniment to you/your child. As I said, I am not currently in the area, but I will be moving there mid August. I will be a student at the Veterinary College there in Blacksburg, so I will not have a lot of time; I will take max 12 students.
